The Chevening LSE Fellowship 2027 in the UK is a fully funded fellowship jointly supported by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office. Through various research fellowship programs, the British Embassy and Consulates-General in China collaborate closely with leading Chinese and UK universities to support the professional development of mid-career fellows in important fields.

The Chevening LSE Fellowship allows participants to conduct research at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for three or six months. Based on their research interests, fellows are hosted by a relevant department, institute, or centre at LSE and are assigned an adviser. Fellows are expected to work on their research projects, complete a research paper, and present their work at LSE at the end of the fellowship.

Applications are welcomed from different fields of social sciences, particularly public diplomacy, public policy and administration, international relations, development, social sciences, and environmental challenges. Applicants are required to submit a research proposal. Fellows can also participate in seminars and discussion groups at LSE and may audit lectures with the instructor’s permission, where available.
