The ETH Pioneer Fellowship 2027 is a prestigious funded entrepreneurship program that supports innovative researchers and students in transforming cutting-edge research into successful spin-off companies. Hosted by ETH Zurich, this fellowship is designed for entrepreneurial Master’s students, Ph.D. candidates, and researchers who want to commercialize their research-based technologies through world-class incubation, funding, coaching, and mentoring.
The fellowship offers two specialized tracks: the Deep-Tech Incubation Program and the Global Development Incubation Program. Eligibility Criteria
- Must be an entrepreneurial ETH Zurich Master’s student, doctoral student, or researcher.
- Must have research results suitable for commercialization.
- A company must not have been incorporated before applying.
- The project must have the full support of an ETH Zurich host professor.
- Must demonstrate a promising business case.
- Applicants may apply for only one fellowship track (Deep-Tech or Global Development).
- For the Global Development track, projects must target low- and middle-income countries.
