Eligibility Criteria of the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competiton 2025:

• Senior Category: Open to participants aged 14-18 (born between May 23, 2006, and May 23, 2011).
• Junior Category: Open to participants under 14 (born on or after May 23, 2011).
• Nationality: Open to young writers from all Commonwealth nations and territories, as well as residents of Hong Kong, Ireland, and Zimbabwe.
• Non-Commonwealth Participants: Must submit their entries through their Local Royal Commonwealth Society Branch.

Requirements of the QCEC 2025:

• Completed online application form
• Original essay in English (adhering to word limit)
• Author’s personal details (name, age, country, and category)
• Guardian/teacher consent for participants under 16

3. You have been stranded on a planet where everyone is 18 or under. Journal your experience.
