Eligibility Criteria for the DAAD University Summer Courses:
- Must be enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programs in any subject area.
- Bachelor students should have completed at least two academic years by the start of the scholarship period.
- Must be at least 18 years old when starting the funded stay.
- Must be enrolled at a university in one of the program-related countries (excluding Germany) both at the time of application and during the scholarship period.
- Must have a gap of two full years between two grants for a university winter or summer course. Applications can be made if the last sponsorship was in 2021 or earlier.
- Applicants can apply even if they have not yet completed their second year of higher education at the start of the scholarship.
- Must be able to follow lectures and participate in group work in German.
- Must provide a language certificate with the application, not older than one year (certificates from B2 or TDN4 in all sections may be older).
- onSET-Deutsch, TestDaF, Goethe Institut-Nachweis, DSD, DSH, telc Deutsch, ÖSD-Zertifikat.
- Must provide proof of at least A2 level in German.
