Eligibility Criteria
- Be currently enrolled as a high school or home-schooled student.
- Attend school in one of the 50 U.S. states, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or an eligible Department of Defense school.
- Graduate during the 2026-2027 academic year.
- Be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Permanent Resident, Refugee, Asylee, Cuban-Haitian Entrant, or Humanitarian Parolee under applicable federal financial aid guidelines.
- Expect to receive a high school diploma during the current academic year.
- Plan to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution.

Coca-Cola Scholars Selection Process
The selection process consists of several stages:
Phase 1 – Online Application
Eligible high school seniors complete the initial online application.
No essays, transcripts, or recommendations are required during this stage.
Phase 2 – Semifinalists
Approximately 1% of applicants advance to the semifinalist stage.
Semifinalists complete an additional application that includes:

- Academic transcript
- Recommendation
Phase 3 – Regional Finalists
Approximately 250 semifinalists advance to the Regional Finalist stage and participate in an interview with Coca-Cola Scholar alumni and program staff.
Phase 4 – Coca-Cola Scholars
A total of 150 students are selected as Coca-Cola Scholars and receive the $20,000 scholarship.
