The Global Young Academy 2022 is now accepting applications for new members. Scholars from any research-based discipline are eligible to apply for the program, including those in the natural, physical, social sciences, or the arts and humanities.
Global Young Academy Scholars are expected to actively contribute to one or more of the GYA’s programs, which includes participation in policy development and promotion of National Young Academies. Candidates must demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, a proven track record, and expected future achievements.
The Global Young Academy aims to build an institution of excellence that supports young leaders to become globally connected and to transform their organizations on a global scale. The GYA also facilitates the growth and coordination of National Young Academies all across the world.

- Host Organization: Global Young Academy
- Requirement for Applicants: PhD or equivalent
- Duration of Program: 5 Years
- Age Limit: 30-40
- Eligible Nationality: Open for All
- Deadline: September 15, 2021.

Eligibility Criteria For The Global Young Academy 2022:
- The call is open to leading researchers, scholars, and scientists in their early to mid-career phases from all over the world.
- Scholars from any field of research, including the sciences, medicine, engineering, social sciences, arts, and humanities, can apply.
- Candidates must demonstrate a high level of excellence in their field of study.
- The minimum age requirement for GYA’s members is 30 to 40.
